Welcome To Our Spoken Word Family’
Ours is a community of poets and lovers of the spoken word, connected by the passion for inclusion and social tolerance. We interact with our global family through regular, themed poetry contests that celebrate our differences.
Competitions are open to a global audience and are fantastic platforms for our creative talents to be seen and heard on a global stage. Winners receive cash prizes from sponsors, global recognition from their peers and certificates of excellence from The TWN Group to encourage them to achieve even more.
The power of poetry is in its ability to cast a “sideways” light on the world, allowing the truth to infiltrate you. Lovers of the spoken word understand and appreciate the world. It’s about recognising human flaws and the need to be socially tolerant.
By creating a community of poets to support each other and interact, we aim to break down barriers and celebrate the things that make us different. Our hope is that by promoting inclusion, we can all find ways to get along and relate in some way with one another.

We recently launched the TWN Loyalty Scheme to create a deeper bond, and an interactive forum for peer to peer support and to invest in talent across our operating markets in line with our mission of empowerment.
Peer To Peer Forums
To ensure that we retain close ties with our creatives and to ensure safe spaces for personal development, we invite our loyalty members and competition winners to the ‘TWN Challenge Hall Of Fame’.
The ‘TWN Challenge Hall Of Fame’ is a forum for peer to peer support and from our perspective here at TWN, an independent forum for exchange of ideas to motivate and inspire
